This program operates under the authority of the West Virginia Pesticide Control Act of 1990 (Chapter 19, Article 16A of the Code of West Virginia) to regulate pesticides in the public interest. The unit licenses companies and individuals to apply pesticides, conducts monitoring activities, performs inspections and conducts educational training for proper pesticide use.

Certification and Licensing
